Training for Life
Our training is extremely broad and inclusive. We do not specialize in just strength, endurance or speed, but rather we strive for proficiency in ten domains of fitness. These are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
CrossFit training will not look like your typical cardio or strength program from a big chain health club or even your high school weight room. We take a minimilast approach to equipment and use the time-tested, proven methods of sprinting, barbell training, plyometrics, bodyweight gymnastics, Olympic Weightlifting, martial arts fundamentals, and a variety of mobility exercises to help you achieve all around fitness.
Who should be training with CrossFit?
Both competitive athletes and non-competitve athletes benefit from CrossFit training.
For the non-competitive athlete, working on all of these things gives you the best physical preparedness for life in general. Helping you to get the most out of every day and live with the highest possible level of fitness AND health.
For competitive athletes we find that CrossFit helps find the holes in your game and brings those areas up to par with your other skills. Whether you are competing in football, track, martial arts, hockey, wrestling, or gymnastics, the very best athletes are well-rounded and highly capable across broad modal domains.
